Textures – why keep it simple?

Trend of 2016

Texture can be an element that many overlook, when in fact by mixing and matching these they add an unexpected impact to a room and allow it to change a room significantly.

One common use of texture is to add interest to a monochromatic colour scheme. If everything is painted the same, texture can play a supporting role to the functioning of a space- but remember not to go too crazy, try to stick to two or three distinct textures! Why not let your Luxaflex® shades be one of them?

One way to achieve this trend is to mix your woods and metals to achieve that sought after industrial look. At Luxaflex® we provide a variety of wood blinds to allow you to do just this – why not take a look at our Luxaflex® Wood Blinds.

Remember, it’s important to not to confine the way a room feels by just visual elements, such as line and colours. Add texture to add interest to a space and utilise them to make sure your most important elements pop out.
