The selected shade for 2022 is Dulux ‘Bright Skies™ ’ - a fresh and airy tone that can bring new light and life to any space; much like carefully chosen window dressings.
To choose the Colour of the Year 2022, Dulux forms a panel of international design experts to advise on the mood of the moment and share their insights on the colour trends that will shape the way we live.
Dulux colour experts then chose the best colour to reflect those findings.
“Over the past 18 months, our lives have been turned upside down, but we’ve also had time to rethink the way we live and reassess what’s really important.
“This year, our discussion went digital and we talked about colour trends, including:

● How nature is essential to our lives
● How the arts can bring us comfort and inspiration
● How important it is to embrace new voices and ideas for a brighter future
