It always has and it always will be a statement in any space and with more homes choosing to go further out of the box when it comes to prints and patterns it’s no wonder they’re becoming a staple in any interior space.

We’re diving into some must-have patterns and sharing some top tips on how’s best to incorporate them into your home while complementing your existing interior style.

Fancy Florals

When styling and decorating your space, you want to be bold and confident with your decisions - this may seem a little daunting when using busy patterns. Incorporating the prints in smaller doses is a fail-safe way of easing yourself in and leaving no regrets.

Botanicals and floral prints are never a bad idea and look great in just about any space. For living areas, choose large patterns that can be layered with smaller scale patterns to add dimension and depth. Using soft furnishings such as throws or cushions is a simple, easy way to complement your hero print while super easy to switch up to change the vibe.

We can’t get enough of ditsy florals in the bedroom added to walls and even the ceiling using wallpaper for a true statement. Add the print to bedding, cushions or even accent chairs for a more subdued take. Don’t forget to team the prints with plain, soft neutrals to ensure an element of calm remains in your sleeping space.

Our collection of patterned roller blinds are quickly becoming a must-have for bedrooms and living rooms thanks to our range of patterns and prints that pack a punch. Our innovative fabrics also ensure they remain practical with room darkening properties that not only protect your sleep but privacy too!

Go, Go, Go for Geometrics

If florals don’t take your fancy, we’re loving geometric prints - a repetition of sharp stand out shapes that are sure to add an element of interest in any space.

Give eyes a place to rest by complementing the prints with solid colours on walls, rugs or even larger furniture pieces.

Bay windows are a gorgeous area to add geometric printed roller blinds which can easily steal the show in your living or dining area. Not feeling brave to go for the full patterned set? Opt for a printed roller blind for your central windows and accompany with a plain block coloured shades in the outer windows of the bay. Chic and stylish while still offering an element of delight.

If you want to go even further with geometrics, think about including the print in your soft furnishings. We particularly love how a patterned headboard can transform a bedroom - go for deep blue tones for the ultimate statement!

Bohemian Paradise

Take inspiration from elements across the globe and transform your interiors into a bohemian paradise that will transport you to foreign lands every time you enter.

The beauty of these patterns is there’s no true knack - mismatched, multicoloured is where it’s at and as the saying goes - the more the merrier!

Worried how it’ll all tie together? Choose a muted tone that complements the prints and go wild on your walls with this one block colour. You can’t go wrong with pale blues and soft greens to ground a space and coordinate all the patterns together!

Enhance your slice of heaven with rich gold, bronze and antique silver homewares. Not forgetting some live (or faux) plants for that little bit of lush!

Of course, these statement patterns aren’t for everyone so if you’re looking to try it out on a smaller scale, style a nook or alcove to get a feel for the vibe.

Playful Prints

For a fun, flirty and flamboyant scheme let loose and combine some of your favourite patterns to create a really playful look.

We love this style in children’s spaces. Whether it’s the nursery or playroom, combine two patterns in contrasting colours to keep it looking lively without it being chaotic. A mix of hard lines and soft curves is a must-do when playing with prints and in colours like pastel pinks and sage greens or yellow and lilac you’re really creating a talking point.

Luxaflex® patterned blinds are a great way to incorporate one element of the dual print vibe into the space and with so many different colours and prints to choose from, you really will be spoilt for choice.
